Princess Eugenie Finally Reveals Her Baby Daughter’s Full Name — But One Detail Has Royal Fans Intrigued
Princess Eugenie has revealed her newborn daughter’s name, two weeks after she and husband Jack Brooksbank became parents for the third time.
The couple have called her Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank, as the King’s niece announced on Instagram.
“Two weeks ago today we welcomed our girl to the world. And since then we’ve had the most special, cosy and love-filled time,” Eugenie, 36, wrote.
“We are so happy to share Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank.
“Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her great-grandmother who we hold close in our hearts. Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.
“Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.”

The newest member of the royal family was born in Lisbon, Portugal, earlier this month. Eugenie and Jack already share sons August, 5, and Ernest, 3.
The princess announced the happy news of their latest child’s arrival on social media on August 5, alongside a sweep snap of the little girl, taken by her father.

“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank! We are beyond in love with our girly,” the caption read.
A statement released by Buckingham Palace around the same time confirmed that Eugenie and Jack were “delighted” to have welcomed a daughter.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal,” the announcement on Tuesday evening, UK time, read.
“The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces (3.1kg). Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”
The couple own property south of the Portuguese capital, and split their time between there and the UK.
Eugenie first met Jack through mutual friends in 2010 at the popular Swiss ski resort, Verbier, when he was 24 and she was 20. The pair tied the knot on October 12, 2018, in Windsor.
