The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited King Charles and Queen Camilla for a private reunion.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK together since 2022. The Sussexes’ were accompanied by their two children. It is the first time the King has seen his grandchildren Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, in person in more than four years. Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday evening that King Charles and Queen Camilla hosted the family at Highgrove House earlier in the afternoon.
While Prince Harry and his family were at Highgrove, his brother, the Prince of Wales, was playing in a charity polo match in Windsor. The relationship between the siblings remains fractured with reports suggesting William had no plans to meet with Harry and Meghan while they were in the UK.
The Sussexes visited Charles and Camilla at Highgrove with Archie and Lilibet, but no photographs were released and royal sources reportedly insisted the meeting was simply a grandfather seeing his grandchildren.

The host asked: “What do you think William would have made of the visit Andrew?”
With one-word the royal author claimed the future king was “appalled” about by the visit.
“I think he feels his father is weak,” Andrew commented. “The only way to deal with Meghan particularly is to be tough.”
He continued: “We’ve got to remember there are two children who have done nothing wrong and are entitled to see their grandparents. Or their grandfather. I think there would be some sympathy.”William wants to keep out of this.”
