DID SHE HELP HIM ESCAPE..?! – A WOMAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED IN BAIRNSDALE AS DETECTIVES PROBE THE MOVEMENTS OF FUGITIVE DEZI FREEMAN AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY FLED HIS POREPUNKAH HOME.
A 58-year-old woman has been arrested by detectives investigating the movements of cop killer Dezi Freeman after he gunned down two officers and fled.
Victoria Police said the woman was taken into custody in Bairnsdale on Friday morning.
“The woman will now be interviewed by police,” authorities said.

“The investigation remains ongoing and as such, we are not in a position to provide further details at this time.”
Bairnsdale is about 3.5 hours south of Porepunkah, where Freeman, 56, had lived.
He killed Senior Constable Vadim de Waart-Hottart and Detective Leading Senior Constable Neal Thompson when they arrived at his home in August.
He then fled, sparking a major, month’s-long manhunt.
Freeman evaded capture until he was tracked down to a property in regional Thologolong and shot dead by police in March.
