NEIGHBOURS of speedboat killer Jack Shepherd allegedly heard his new girlfriend’s “disturbing” screams as he terrorised her with BBQ tongs in a bedsit.
The 39-year-old convicted killer unleashed two violent attacks on the vulnerable women after he was freed from prison.

Shepherd had previously been put behind bars for killing Charlotte Brown, 24, who was thrown from his boat on the River Thames in December 2015.
He was released in January 2024 and later met a woman – 20 years his senior – known as Mrs X, according to court documents.
But in two separate incidents, Shepherd pinned her down and punched her “several times” and struck her in the chest with barbecue tongs after flying into a rage when she burnt a pizza.

The first attack left her with “bruising to her arm and top of the leg” in February 2025 while the tongs inflicted a permanent scar in June that same year.
One resident recalled how Mrs X used to say “she was frightened” and they had “very, very disturbing arguments”.
They alleged there was “screaming and shouting” and that she said “he used to put his hand around her neck and threatened her”.
“It was a disaster in the end, she’s been through hell. He could have killed her,” they added.
One neighbour claimed the woman was “alone and in need of someone to talk to” before they started seeing each other in August 2024.
They said that their relationship got off to a good start before it descended into a “nightmare”.
“He’s conned her and conned us all. We were all taken in by him…but he’s a danger to all women,” they added.
Shepherd appeared at Isleworth Crown Court on Tuesday where he admitted the two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and damaging property.
Prosecutors agreed to drop two other allegations, of controlling or coercive behaviour and intentional suffocation.
According to court documents, Shepherd and Ms X were in a relationship that continued even after she was told by the police about his history.

By the end of 2024, Shepherd became violent and coercive towards Ms X, who complained to the police.
The woman accused him of “belittling” her with jibes about her weight and age, and accused her of flirting with other men.
As part of the controlling or coercive behaviour charge, which was dropped by prosecutors, she also claimed he had mentioned a violent former cellmate and allegedly told her it would be her “last day” if she said anything bad to his probation officer.
The documents said he was arrested on August 5, 2025, and recalled to custody a month later after his licence was revoked.
Charlotte’s family yesterday told the PM that Shepherd should not be freed early.
Shepherd was jailed for six years in April 2019, for manslaughter by gross negligence.
On the night Charlotte died, Shepherd tried to impress her with a late-night trip past the Houses of Parliament after dinner at the Shard.
Harrowing footage showed him racing down the Thames in his faulty speedboat moments before it hit a log and flipped over.
Shockingly, Shepherd fled the UK before he could face justice in person and spent ten months on the run.
Shepherd finally appeared at the Old Bailey in April 2019 after being extradited back to the UK from Georgia and began his six-year sentence.
He was also handed a further four years in prison after he attacked a barman with a vodka bottle in 2018.
Shepherd was remanded into custody until a sentencing hearing in September.
