Jennifer Aniston made her relationship with Jim Curtis Instagram official and her ex Justin Theroux approves!

The Friends alum, 56, publicly confirmed that she and Curtis are a couple with a hard-launch photo shared to her Instagram account on Sunday, Nov. 2, in celebration of the author and hypnotherapist’s 50th birthday.

“Happy birthday my love,” she captioned the single-photo upload, adding, “Cherished ❤️.”

While many rooted for the newly public couple in Aniston’s comments, perhaps the most notable interaction was in her likes, where Theroux, 54, shared his support.

Aniston and the filmmaker were married from 2015 until 2018.

The former couple met in 2007, and later reconnected on the set of 2011’s Wanderlust before forming a romantic relationship. Despite their divorce, Aniston and Theroux have remained close.

Other celebs who responded to Aniston’s post include Amy Schumer and The Bachelor‘s Kaitlyn Bristowe.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ❤️😍 You guys are very cute,” Schumer wrote under the black and white not-so-subtle announcement photo, which showed Curtis smiling as Aniston hugged him from behind.

“FINE I BELIEVE IN LOVE,” Bristowe added.

Aniston and Curtis were first linked together in July after they were spotted looking cozy on a yacht in Spain while vacationing with friends. Aniston’s Horrible Bosses costar Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, were among the group.

A source told PEOPLE at the time that Aniston and Curtis were “casually dating and having fun” and have been “seeing each other for a few months now.”

“They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work,” the source said. “He’s very different from anyone she’s dated before.”

Curtis was seen again in close proximity to Aniston when he supported the actress at The Morning Show season 4 premiere in September.

On Monday, Nov. 3, a source close to Curtis and the Murder Mystery 2 star told PEOPLE the actress is “very happy and in a great place” with her new man.

“She’s been glowing. Everything in her life has come together and she’s excited about it. Jim’s the best,” the source said. “Her friends love him. He’s calm, very warm and incredibly supportive. He’s brought a really steady and positive energy into her life.”

The insider also said Curtis “fits right in with her friends,” describing him as “social” and “easygoing.”

“Everyone loves having him around,” the source told PEOPLE of Curtis, whom they said Aniston is “having fun” with. “It all feels light, natural and really good. It’s exactly where she wants to be right now.”
