A Fox News guest host is getting a reality check on social media after her over-the-top claim about President Donald Trump’s energy levels.

Trump, 79, has been seen struggling to stay alert in public since returning to the White House early this year. Last week, the New York Times reported that Trump is holding fewer events, traveling less and working shorter days as a concession to the realities of an aging president.

But Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe, filling in for Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle,” slammed the report, defended Trump, and attacked former President Joe Biden.

“The man is almost 80 but he’s also a machine. I mean, he barely sleeps, he works around the clock and he constantly talks to the press and meanwhile Biden always slept, worked sometimes, and never talked to the press unless they were asking about ice cream flavors,” she said.

Boothe’s claim comes amid growing concerns over the president’s health ― including a hastily announced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center last month for a “routine yearly checkup” just six months after his annual physical.

That test included an MRI, which Trump later said was “perfect.”

However, neither he nor the White House has explained why he needed an MRI in the first place.

Trump seemed to nod off repeatedly during his criminal trial in New York last year, although he and his legal advisors denied it.

And this year, he’s been seen battling heavy eyelids at White House events.

Earlier this month, a Washington Post analysis found that Trump spent nearly 20 minutes battling to keep his eyes open during an Oval Office meeting. Similarly, MS NOW host Katy Tur ― who covered Trump’s 2016 campaign ― told The Daily Beast that Trump “doesn’t have the same amount of energy” and isn’t “as coherent as he used to be.”

“He’s always been not entirely coherent, but it’s different now. He’s slower. His speech is slower,” she said. “You can see him falling asleep sometimes, or appearing to fall asleep in the Oval Office.”

Trump has attacked reports of his flagging energy, writing on Truth Social this week:

“There will be a day when I run low on Energy, it happens to everyone, but with a PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST (“That was aced”) JUST RECENTLY TAKEN, it certainly is not now!”

However, critics on X said the photos of Trump at recent events tell the real story of his energy levels:
