🚨 JUST IN — Queen Camilla’s 4-WORD Reply During a Private Conversation Is Suddenly Capturing Attention… And Everyone Wants to Know Why

Queen Camilla has been a senior royal for nearly two decades and has taken on a number of public duties, but friends say she was “very happy” before her life changed.

Queen Camilla issued a somewhat pragmatic four-word reponse after being told it’s “going so well”, her good friend has claimed. Camilla celebrated her 79th birthday on July 17, and has grown in her Royal role ever since she married King Charles in 2005. She first took on the title Duchess of Cornwall, before becoming Queen following her husband’s coronation in 2023.

Before royal life became all-consuming, Camilla’s day-to-day was said to be far more low-key. People who know her have described her as feeling perfectly content without a defined “career”, filling her time with things that interested her instead. Gyles Brandreth, the former MP turned podcaster and a friend of the Queen, suggests that the timing has made the transition even more striking. He notes that while most people in their late 70s are winding down, Camilla and the King have had to do the reverse, ramping up their commitments instead of stepping back.

He explained to Hello!: “You might think she could slow down, but they are having to quicken the pace. But I never get the impression that she is doing it reluctantly.”

Author Catherine Mayer, who also knows the Queen, similarly told the publication: “This is a woman who really was very happy not having a career, and who liked to potter and do things that interested her, and now suddenly she has this huge role.

“She’s lived a lot of her life in different directions to most of us.”

Gyles adds that Camilla doesn’t like to make a big deal out of her birthdays, preferring to treat the occasion as time to be spent with family. He added: “I don’t think she sees birthdays as a big deal, but family is very important to her, so that is her kind of celebration.

“When you say, ‘Next year is the big one,’ she pulls a face and says, ‘Thank you for reminding me.’ I think the truth is, she’s in a good place, though when you say to her, ‘Well done, it’s going so well,’ she shrugs and says, ‘Well, on we go.'”

A Buckingham Palace update last week signalled another push from Camilla on one of her best-known causes, reading. The plan will see a special edition of Katherine Rundell’s Impossible Creatures handed out to all Year 6 and P6 pupils during Christmas.

Each book is also due to include a message from the Queen herself. Describing the story, Camilla called it a “brilliant fantasy” and told young readers it would introduce them to “a host of mythical friends and terrifying enemies”.

The Palace news follows separate reports suggesting two famous singers could be linked to Camilla.

A Reddit user wrote: “Today I learned that Madonna and Celine Dion are distant cousins of Camilla Parker Bowles (Queen Camilla, wife of King Charles).”

Woman & Home previously shed light on the connection: “Interestingly, there are two famous pop stars that genealogical research has linked Queen Camilla to.

“Both Madonna and Celine Dion are descendants of the same French Canadian couple who lived in the 17th century. Camilla and the singers are also connected to actress Angelina Jolie too.”
