Police have launched an urgent search for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a week, as heartbroken friends and family flood social media with pleas for her safe return.
Millie, from Palmview on the Sunshine Coast, left home on July 19 and was last spotted at Coomera train station at about 4.40pm on July 23 before seemingly vanishing without a trace.
She has not been seen or heard from since.
The teenager is described as Caucasian, about 170cm tall, with a slim build and long brown hair.
She was last seen wearing Adidas sneakers, a blue and navy long-sleeve top, and carrying a black and navy backpack.
Police believe Millie may have travelled to the intersection of Swan Road and Yawalpah Road in Pimpama shortly before 5pm on the day she was last seen.
Investigators believe she may now be in either the Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast area.
Officers and family members hold serious concerns for Millie’s welfare due to her age.

As the search enters its second week, concerned friends have taken to social media to share her photo and urge her to return home.
‘Millie, you’re so loved, darling girl. Please find your way home. Praying for her safe return,’ one friend wrote.
Others have rallied around Millie’s mother, Tara, while urging the public to help spread information about the missing teen.
‘Could I ask everyone to please share this information as Millie is so loved by our family. We are standing with her mum Tara, praying for a safe and quick return home,’ a family friend said.
Another added: ‘Please come home, Millie. Hayley and Harlow love you so much and keep looking for you at church.’
‘If you’ve seen our friend Millie, please reach out.’
