Amarillo police said that a group of “juveniles and young adults” were attending a party at a different location before being asked to leave.

They then “later followed attendees” to another party at Westminster Apartments where they attempted to enter and started shooting.

It is unclear how many gunmen there were, but police have said the attack was carried out with a “rifle-style weapon.”

It comes just six weeks after four separate shootings were carried out in Amarillo in one day leaving six dead and 10 injured.
