Shocking discovery emerges following the case of a 17-year-old boy found t!:ed to a tree with severe injuries
QUEENSLAND, Australia (WKRC) – A 17-year-old boy was found bound to a tree with serious injuries after he was allegedly tortured and assaulted.
According to a release from the Queensland Police Service, at around 6:35 a.m. on July 18 a jogger found the victim zip-tied and wrapped in plastic, tied to a tree.
Authorities with the Townsville Child Abuse and Sexual Crime Unit told ABC that the attack was not random, and that the teen was likely attacked at a residence before being “dumped” at the site. Investigators estimated that he was in the area for over five hours.
Police said that their investigation led to 11 arrests in connection to the incident. Although their charges were not entirely specified, they included torture and assault, among others. The suspects were a 13-year-old, four 14-year-olds, two men (ages 30 and 34), and four women (ages 32, 25, 26, and 40.)

The victim was in stable condition after being rescued but doctors said he sustained multiple bone fractures and required several surgeries.
