As a Kansas community mourns a mother and her four children killed in a murder-suicide this week, a neighbor’s security camera has revealed eerie footage from just three days before the killings.
Kelly L. George, 44, and her four children — 9-year-old Carol A. Williams, 7-year-old Ronald H. Williams Jr., 5-year-old Sarah K. Williams and 3-year-old Kelly M. Magee-Williams — were fatally shot in their Winfield, Kan. home on Tuesday, Aug. 11, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation said in a statement.
Ronald Williams Sr., 53, called 911, told police he had killed his family, then died by suicide, the Bureau said.
A neighbor’s Ring camera reportedly captured Ronald Sr. screaming outside the house days before the murder.
The footage, dated Aug. 7, 2026 and shared online by KAKE News, shows the man said to be Ronald Sr. walking about, putting items in his pickup truck and screaming profanities.
In the video, which is a little over three minutes long, he is seen walking to the rear of the truck and at one point entering the vehicle as he screams. Much of the audio has been bleeped but on several occasions he seemingly screams “my cousin” and at one point mentions “kill my [bleep] cousin.”
He can also be heard saying, “I’m ‘bout to [bleep] you up,” and “You better believe that.”
In another part of the video, shot from a different angle, he is seen on the other side of the truck, screaming profanities as another person, much smaller in stature, walks up with a child and is seen putting things inside the pickup truck. He is heard saying, “When we went to Oklahoma” several times.
The video ends as the other person is seen getting into the truck with the child and is seemingly about to close the door.

Days later, police say, he called 911 to tell the dispatcher he had killed his family and was planning to kill himself, according to the KBI statement.
When officers responded to the residence, they heard a single gunshot wound. They found the six deceased family members inside.

Ronald was a registered sex-offender, according to court records cited by KCTV 5 and KWCH.
He was convicted in 1998 of attempted indecent liberties with a child for an incident involving a 15-year-old girl, according to KBI and court records cited by the outlet.

As the community is reeling from shock, they have set up a makeshift memorial outside the residence, according to KAKE News. A photo shared by the outlet shows flowers and stuffed animals placed on front lawn of the house.
