An elderly woman has died after being hit by a truck in the Sydney CBD.
Emergency services were called to Harris St in Ultimo after reports a woman had been hit by a truck.
“NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated the woman; however, she died at the scene,” a police statement read.
The woman is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged in her 80s.

The truck driver, a man in his 40s, was not injured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing.
Harris St has been closed between William Henry St and Mary Ann St.
“The Allen St off-ramp from the Western Distributor to Harris St is also closed due to this crash,” a LiveTraffic NSW statement read.
“Consider using Pyrmont Bridge Rd or Harbour St instead.”
Motorists have been told to avoid the area.
