Prince Harry is reportedly returning to California feeling more optimistic after his long-awaited reunion with King Charles, with friends claiming the meeting has given him renewed hope that relations within the Royal Family could gradually improve.
The private gathering at Highgrove House marked the first time King Charles had seen Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in person since 2022.
Harry Reportedly Feeling Positive
According to The Times, friends of the Duke of Sussex say he is feeling “buoyed, very happy and really energised” following last Friday’s family reunion.
One source suggested Harry hopes the meeting could represent the beginning of a new chapter, saying:
“Every journey of a thousand miles begins with one footstep.”
Neither Buckingham Palace nor the Sussexes have publicly commented on those claims.
A Rare Family Reunion
Harry was joined by Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet during the private visit to Highgrove House in Gloucestershire.
The gathering was hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla and was kept deliberately private, with no official photographs or details released afterward.
It marked the first in-person meeting between the King and his youngest grandchildren in four years.
Security Plans Changed the Original Visit
Harry had originally travelled to Britain alone for several charity engagements, including events promoting the 2027 Invictus Games.
Reports indicate Meghan and the children joined him later after security arrangements were finalized, allowing the family reunion to go ahead.
The visit remained entirely private, with Meghan making no public appearances during the UK trip.
Hope for Better Relations
