FLORENCE, Ala. (WSMV) – The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama said deputies and rescue crews are working to locate a missing Tennessee man.
Marcus DeWeese, 48, of Kingston Springs, Tenn., was last seen near Shoal Creek on Waters Edge Drive off County Road 94 Thursday.

LCSO said it, along with the Florence Dive Team and Killen Fire and Rescue, are searching the river and the surrounding area for DeWeese.
DeWeese is about 6′ tall and weighs 250 pounds with dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and khaki shorts.
“Anyone who has had contact with Mr. DeWeese or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately or contact the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office at 256-760-5769,” LCSO said.
