Buckingham Palace announces Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank have welcomed third baby
The royal family just got a little bigger, with Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank welcoming a new baby.
Princess Eugenie has given birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Portugal.
The 37-year-old royal and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, shared the happy news on Instagram with a picture of the sweet infant, taken by her father.
“Jack and I are so excited to announce Baby Girl Brooksbank! We are beyond in love with our girly,” the caption read.
The little girl, whose name has not yet been revealed, is the couple’s third child. They already share son August, 5, and Ernest, 3.

A statement released by Buckingham Palace confirmed that Eugenie and Jack were “delighted” to have welcomed a daughter on Monday evening.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter, born on Monday, 3rd August 2026, at 6.20pm, at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal,” the announcement on Tuesday evening, UK time, read.
“The baby was born weighing 6 pounds 9 ounces (3.1kg). Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news.”
The couple own property south of the Portuguese capital, and split their time between there and the UK.

News.com.au understands Eugenie and her new daughter are doing well, and that the princess and her husband are deeply grateful to hospital staff for their care.
The daughter of Andrew-Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson first revealed the news that she was expecting in May.
The princess posted a picture of her two sons holding an ultrasound captioned with: “Baby Brooksbank due 2026!”

The Palace also shared a statement following the pregnancy announcement earlier this year.
“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.
“August and Ernest are also very excited to have another sibling join the family.”
Eugenie first met Jack through mutual friends in 2010 at the popular Swiss ski resort, Verbier, when he was 24 and she was 20.
The pair tied the knot on October 12, 2018, in Windsor.
