ONE FAMILY IS NOW PLANNING FIVE FUNERALS..! – CHILLING FINAL MOMENTS EMERGE AFTER A HORRIFIC FAMILY K!LLING SPREE IN ILLINOIS.

Illinois family left to plan five funerals after relatives were killed in a shooting spree

“I can’t show her no sympathy,” the teen suspect’s father said.

EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — A family in Illinois is in the midst of an unthinkable nightmare after a spree killing of relatives. Now, they are left to plan five funerals.

A 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the deadly shooting. Illinois State Police said the two were taken into custody after officers performed a PIT maneuver on a car one of the suspects was driving.

Loved ones of the victims say the girl turned on her own flesh and blood, shooting seven family members, killing five of them.

For Marcus May, the father of the 15-year-old suspect, the pain is indescribable.

“I can’t show her no sympathy,” he said.

His daughter’s alleged actions took the lives of her brother, sister, and her grandmother, Marcus’ own mother.

“She chose to do this. No stipulation,” Marcus said. “Everybody had a choice.”

The shootings happened in multiple locations inside East St. Louis, a city of about 20,000 near the Missouri border, according to Illinois State Police.

Illinois State Police Director Brenden Kelly said there were at least three shooting scenes throughout the city.

State police have identified the victims as 74-year-old Patricia A. May, 49-year-old Cherie L. May, 24-year-old Devin D. May, 25-year-old Shania W. Thompson and 21-year-old Quentin L. Thompson.

The names or ages of the two injured family members were not released. Kelly said both were in serious condition at a hospital in St. Louis.

The victims spanned three generations. Patricia May, her daughter Cherie May, and her grandson Devin May were killed. Siblings Quentin and Shania Thompson also died in the shooting.

Devin May leaves behind a 1-year-old daughter.

“He was a great father,” his wife, Chelsey Gatlin, said. “A great person and a great man.”

“Devin’s a hard worker, and he loved his family,” his sister, Miranda May, said. “I really don’t have words to say. I can’t believe this. They were wonderful people with good hearts.”

Miranda said she will never be the same after the death of her mother, Cherie, who she said was known for helping anyone who needed it.

The loss of the family’s matriarch, Patricia, has left a deep wound.

“My granny is so loved,” Miranda said. “It just hurts to see that she was gone like this. It really hurts so bad.”

Those close to Quentin and Shania Thompson say the sister and brother had bright futures ahead of them.

Shania was known for her culinary talents and dreamed of starting her own restaurant. Quentin loved to draw and was passionate about anime.

Now the family is leaning on the community for help to lay them to rest. Loved ones are also working to establish a trust fund for Devin May’s 1-year-old daughter.

An online fundraiser has been set up to assist the family with burial costs and support for the baby left behind.
