The man died after being found seriously injured in a garden outside an apartment complex.

Three people have been charged with murder after a man died following a fall from a balcony in Sydney’s northwest.

Police were called to the Castle Hill unit complex around 2.40am on Sunday after reports of shouting coming from an apartment’s balcony.

When officers arrived they found a 44-year-old man suffering “serious injuries” in a garden outside the building.

Paramedics did their best to revive the man but he died at the scene.

A crime scene was established with homicide detectives deployed to investigate the death.

Police on Wednesday arrested a 38-year-old man at Castle Hill Police Station where he was charged with murder.

Detectives attended a Woolloomooloo home on Thursday afternoon and arrested a 30-year-old man and 34-year-old woman. They were both taken to Kings Cross Police Station and charged with murder.

All three people have been refused bail to face court on Friday.
