Killer driver’s shocking act before 12yo’s death
This is the disturbing video showing a killer driver’s reckless attitude behind the wheel before he took the life of a 12-year-old girl.
Jordan Kenyon filmed himself drinking, speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road before he caused a fatal crash that killed a 12-year-old girl.
The Victorian man, 31, recorded a series of shocking videos including one where he steered the car with his legs while drinking from a can of Jack Daniels and threatening to “kill” oncoming motorists.
The videos were shown in the Geelong County Court on Thursday where Kenyon pleaded guilty to culpable driving causing death, reckless conduct endangering life and two counts of negligently causing serious injury.
High on drugs and speeding on January 3, 2024, Kenyon caused the fatal crash on the Hamilton Highway in Stonehaven, 10km west of Geelong, that killed primary school student Mia Rossiter.
After Kenyon crashed into the Rossiter car, killing Mia, he lit a cigarette. When asked by police what happened, he told them he was not driving.
The court heard Kenyon was on bail, wearing an ankle monitor and travelling 153km/h while “off his face” on the drug GHB in the minutes before the fatal collision and that he had fallen asleep when the crash occurred.
He had also never held a licence, according to the Geelong Advertiser.
Mia, who the court heard was a kind-hearted little girl, died at the scene. Her mother, father and younger sister suffered serious injuries when Kenyon hit their car in what County Court judge Michael Tinney described as a game of “Russian Roulette”.
The court heard during Kenyon’s pre-sentence hearing that the 31-year-old had a lengthy history of dangerous driving, including in 2019 when he was jailed for six years for stealing a car and driving at speeds up to 170km/h.

The videos shown to the court of Kenyon speeding on the wrong side of the road, swilling alcohol and boasting about being the “best f***ing designated drunk driver in the world” came just three weeks before he killed Mia.
Jordan Kenyon filmed himself drinking, speeding and driving on the wrong side of the road before he caused a fatal crash that killed a 12-year-old girl.
“Should we kill him,” Kenyon joked while swerving over double white lines in the direction of an oncoming four-wheel drive.
“It was a matter of time before he killed,” Judge Tinney said Thurday.
“This family sitting here today could have been any other family.”
The parolee, who had breached bail numerous times in the lead up to the crash, had posted videos on his social media showing his ankle bracelets — a condition of his bail — where he complained about “how hard it is to make it in society”.
Outside court on Thursday, Mia’s mother Danica Rossiter described her “hate” for the killer.
“The light of my life and I don’t wish this on anyone. I don’t hate many people but there’s no words for the amount of hate I have for him,” she said.
Kenyon will be sentenced next Thursday. The maximum term for culpable driving causing death is 20 years.
