‘Traumatic’: Homicide detectives investigate after 66yo woman found dead in Blackwater home
Detectives said the scene was ‘quite traumatic’ after a 66-year-old woman was found dead in her rural home in Central Queensland.
A domestic violence order was in place at a home where a 66-year-old woman was found dead in Central Queensland.
However, Detective Inspector Luke Peachey said investigators were yet to determine if the DVO was linked to the woman’s death at the residence in Blackwater, west of Rockhampton.
The homicide squad had been called in to the investigation, but he refused to rule out if police suspected foul play.
“We’re keeping an open mind at the moment,” he said.
