Delta Goodrem may have walked off the Eurovision stage in fourth place but her frock was certainly a winner.
The singer wore a beaded, gold gown at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria on Saturday, with the look worth at least $23,000.
Created in collaboration between Australian designer Velani by Nicky, jewellers House of Emmanuele and fashion stylist Tori Knowles, the dress took 500 hours to make and features 7000 Swarovski crystals.
A gown from Velani by Nicky can cost as much as $8000, while custom beading can come in at well over $15,000.
The design was based on the power ballad Eclipse, which Delta performed at the competition.
‘Creating Delta Goodrem’s Eurovision gown has been a true couture journey – a fusion of creativity, craftsmanship, and powerful collaboration,’ Nicky Apostolopoulos wrote on Instagram.

Delta Goodrem stuns with explosive Eurovision grand final performance – but falls agonisingly short

She added she was confused by the voting system and had to ask around to find out how she scored – but nevertheless was thrilled at how much she accomplished.
‘I had to go, ‘I’m sorry, what’s happening with this bit?’ We did everything and went for it, I got to fly out of a piano! I got to use the smoke and the fire… I’m in the top four… I’m thrilled!’ she said.
‘I just want to say thank you, I am so overwhelmed with the love. This was truly once in a lifetime and very magical.’
It comes after Delta finished in fourth place at the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, with Bulgarian singer Dara claiming the crown with her song Bangaranga.
Goodrem had brought the arena to its feet during her performance in Vienna early Sunday morning Australian time, complete with blinding stage lights, swirling smoke and a full-force wind machine.
She was at one point the second favourite to win the 70th edition of the iconic song contest after her bid to become the first Australian artist to claim the Eurovision crown.
The emotional performance capped off a remarkable week for the singer, whose semi-final appearance had already propelled her into uncharted territory for an Australian act in the competition.
