LOVE Island fans have swiftly branded one show star as “evil” and claimed he was “smirking” while his show partner laid bare her emotions.
They have suggested that ITV2 hunk Kavan paid no heed to the stunning brunette he is coupled up with, and simply “doesn’t care”.

The backlash came following explosive Movie Night scenes, which kicked off on Sunday, and saw the islanders have a bumpy ride as they watched clips from their time in the villa.
But it was last night’s show that spelled turmoil for Jasmine, as she watched on-and-off beau Kavan flirt in Casa Amor with bombshell Charleen.
Jasmine was seen around the fire pit the day after Movie Night, confiding in the girls, before bursting into tears – yet viewers called out Kavan for smirking as she was sobbing.
One took to Reddit to post a lengthy message on his reaction which read: “I liked Kavan when he first came in, he actually seemed sweet – especially compared to his brother. But now, I’m simply at a loss for words.

“He was SMIRKING during movie night, when Jasmine was crying over watching his scenes. It seems to me, that he gets some sort of strange satisfaction watching Jasmine suffer? It actually worries me a bit, because this simply cannot be reduced to immaturity.
“He attacked her constantly. He hasn’t comforted her ONCE. Is this some sort of power trip, where he sees how much she likes him and enjoys the power he holds over her?
“I am seriously confused, this is not normal behaviour at all. Like does he even like her at all at this point?
“And Jasmine saying she loves him. Oh boy. I think it’s time for her to self evict”.
Another mused: “He was CHOWING on popcorn.. it was sickening actually. He hates her”.
One took to X to put: “Kavan literally does care at all, he’s over there smirking and laughing he’s so evil omg”.
A fan then wrote: “Okay but listen to my delulu self. Kavan sees Jasmine crying and he’s smiling bc he knows she has feelings for him for sure for sure. He will no longer be insecure and they will win it all”.
Over on Reddit, another attempted to defend Kavan in part, and wrote: “I agree with you.
“However, we have to remember this is a heavily edited show. It could be possible he wasn’t allowed to talk to her yet, perhaps to create tension for the upcoming recoupling”.
It’s not the first time Jasmine has confronted Kavan over his mixed messages.
During her emotional reveal, Jasmine said of Kavan: “After how much I’m falling for this boy, having to sit here and look at him. Guys, I can’t take it.”
As her pals said it’s “really sad”, Jasmine put her hand up to her sunglasses and shook her head as she started to cry.
Her voice cracked and she said again: “I can’t take it you guys, honestly”, before her friends pulled her in for a hug to console her.
Jasmine then voiced her fury in the dressing room and said of the boys: “And then they want to compare it [how they supported each other in Casa] to the way we back each other here.
“Yeah, because you all f***ing clown us around, so we back each other because you clown us around.
“You lot sit there, we sit here like idiots. So I’m going to back my f***ing girls. You don’t need to back your boy when he’s an idiot, you need to G-check him. Hello?”
Though some viewers weren’t convinced about Jasmine’s reaction.
Some suggested she had been “fake crying” as the fall out from Movie Night continued.
