Aniston and Curtis were first linked in July

Jennifer Aniston is wishing her boyfriend Jim Curtis a happy birthday!

On Sunday, Nov. 2, the Friends star, 56, shared a post on Instagram in celebration of her partner’s birthday — and included a rare photo of the pair sharing a sweet embrace.

“Happy birthday my love,” Aniston wrote alongside a black-and-white photo of the couple. Curtis can be seen grinning as the actress wrapped her arms around him from behind.

“Cherished ❤️,” she added in the caption.

Aniston and Curtis were first linked in July after they were seen looking cozy on a yacht.

Since then, the author and hypnotherapist has supported Aniston at The Morning Show season 4 premiere in September, and stepped out to dinner with the actress for a double date with her friend Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, in August.

“[They are] casually dating and having fun,” a source told PEOPLE at the time.

“They were introduced by a friend and started out as friends. Jen had read his book and was familiar with his work,” the source said, referring to Curtis’ career as an author and life coach. “He’s very different from anyone she’s dated before.”

Curtis has worked in the health and wellness space for more than two decades, according to his website. He specializes in helping people “step into the fullest version of themselves” and posts informational videos on social media.

In August, a source told PEOPLE that Curtis has helped Aniston to “slow down,” as she is “so used to going 100 miles an hour while balancing projects” amid her career. Curtis has “helped her turn inwards and slow down a bit.”

The source added that Curtis “really appreciates and feels proud of everything she’s built.”

“She can be very hard on herself … He supports her in a way that feels new,” the insider said.

Aniston rang in the first week of September by debuting Curtis on her Instagram in a photo dump captioned, “Thank you summer.”

Also in September, the couple were spotted heading to dinner in New York City for a casual date night out. In August, they were photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu, Calif., with Courteney Cox and her longtime partner, Johnny McDaid.

Aniston has kept her relationship with Curtis pretty private. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in September, she remained coy about her dating life.

“That’s very nice,” the actress said, after a reporter told her that Curtis seemed to be “a really special guy.”
