This week’s mass axing sent shockwaves through the Majorcan villa when the least favourite boys and girls were dumped.
Elicia, Finley, Martha and Jordon were dumped but with Finley leaving, his partner Ellie also walked away from the show, meaning five islanders were sent packing.
Still remaining in his couple was bombshell Ethan who had formed a connection with fan-favourite Priya.
Sadly for Ethan she had told him that her focus was on fellow islander Aidan, following a messy love triangle.
With Priya even going to the hideaway with Aidan on Friday night’s episode, this has left Ethan as the only islander in the villa without a connection.
And with families set to arrive to deliver some home truths to the couples and with Ethan being the only single lad this has left fans wondering if his own family will be coming to the villa at all.
Speculating on social media, fans took to X with one user penning: “Family day on Sunday but Ethan’s in there single so are they still flying his family over?? Can’t remember anyone being single this late into the show before.”
“Erm what’s Ethan’s family gonna say or do lmao #loveisland #loveislanduk” added another.
“Is Priya gonna meet Ethan’s mum and then walk over to Aidan and Kav’s mum (laughing face emoji),” penned a third.
A fourth said: “So Ethan’s family is coming in??? to talk to him about who??? #loveislanduk”

Meanwhile, a first look of family day saw Simba get a grilling from Angelista’s brother.
Simba and Angelista have had a rollercoaster ride in the Love Island villa, with Simba testing Angelista’s loyalty and emotions on a number of occasions.
It began when he kissed Mica at the sleepover, but the real drama occurred when he hooked up with Mara in Casa Amor and brought her back to the main villa.
However, Simba quickly learned the error of his ways and has grovelled his way back into Angelista’s affections, even dropping the L bomb.
While the couple are in a good place now, a first look at Sunday’s episode sees the Islanders friends and family arrive, and Angelista’s loved ones have got a bone to pick with her villa partner.
Her brother says: “As the older brother, you know this, my metre of acceptable starts off, like….You got to prove it to me.”
