A black Volkswagen Golf lost control in Reservoir just after 7pm on Sunday, crashing through a bus stop and into the veranda of a house on Spring St.

A high speed crash has left a trail of destruction across Melbourne’s north.

A black Volkswagen Golf lost control in Reservoir just after 7pm on Sunday, crashing through a bus stop and into the veranda of a house on Spring St.

Three people were inside the home at the time but escaped unharmed.

The 43-year-old driver and his 41-year-old passenger were injured and taken to hospital.

The driver is facing multiple potential charges including refuse to supply a blood sample and careless driving.
