A MAN has been arrested after a nurse was “violently car-jacked” with a needle outside a hospital.
The victim was hit with her own car after being robbed, leaving her “badly injured”.

Police pursued the stolen car across Smethwick in West Midlands and arrested the thief on Saturday morning.
The force first rushed to the scene after a nurse was forced to give up her car, with the car-jacker brandishing a needle.
Officers from West Midlands Police‘s Road Crime Team and the National Police Air Service chased after the driver on July 4.
After crashing the nicked Skoda, the man was tasered by officers and arrested.

In a statement online, the force said: “#RoadCrimeTeam officers supported by @NPASMidlands pursued this car in Smethwick after a nurse was violently car-jacked outside a hospital where she was threatened with a needle & badly injured after being struck by the car.
“The driver was arrested after being tasered.”
