Two women were walking along Gardiners Creek with their dogs when they were ambushed by a man who leapt from bushes and grabbed one of them.

The women’s dogs then turned on the alleged attacker, forcing him to flee into a tunnel beneath the Monash Freeway.
Footage filmed by one of the women shows six dogs of various breeds and sizes barking furiously as they chase the man through the park.
A blue heeler leapt up and latched onto the man’s leg, ripping his pants.
The man can be heard yelling at the dogs before eventually escaping. He remains on the run.
