STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas is set to make an American smooth move with a judging role on the show’s US version.
The Dancing with the Stars job would mean her criss-crossing the Atlantic to also continue as the BBC One hit’s head judge.

Shirley, 65, impressed execs in the States with her appearance on their spin-off The Next Pro alongside dancer son Mark Ballas, 40.
An insider said: “The American audience love having a no-nonsense Brit on the panel, after all the UK is the home of ballroom so we’re still as the authority.
“That’s why Len Goodman, who was also a Strictly judge, was on the panel from 2005 to 2022 and was incredibly well-liked in the role.
“She’d very much be following in his footsteps, but producers are also convinced she’d make the role her own.

“Discussions are still in the early stages and it’s not certain if she would be taking on a full time position or a part time position.
“There are many considerations which Shirley will have to make before signing on the dotted line.”
Shirley lives in Britain with her mother Audrey, 88.
But only child Mark and grandson Banksi, two, live in the US. Her representatives were approached for comment.
