Love Island viewers make same demand as Villa welcomes pop star

Love Island viewers have been pleading for the same thing on social media as tensions continue to rise in the Villa after a multitude of twists. This Monday’s instalment (22 June) began on a light-hearted note, when Lola received a text announcing a surprise visit from global pop star Bebe Rexha.

The singer arrived at the Villa for an intimate performance, but she wasn’t about to let the Islanders off the hook without addressing some of the season’s biggest talking points.

Among those under the spotlight was Simba, whose complicated love triangle with Angelista and Mica dominated recent episodes. After spending time pursuing Mica while remaining coupled up with Angelista, Simba has found himself struggling to balance the feelings of both women, leading to growing friction.

While fans were pleased to see the singer take a stand, many among them begged for the return of Movie Night, notorious for bringing maximum drama with clips of previous weeks for everyone to see.

One viewer wrote: “Give me movie night and expose mica & samraj they make me sick.” Another echoed: “They NEED to do a mini movie night asap,” while a third viewer jumped in: “I need Priya and Samraj to be here for movie night cos he’s straight up lying to her!”

The demand comes after Mica pulled Samraj for a one-to-one chat at the Fire Pit, hoping to revisit the possibility of getting to know each other. The pair have had a rocky start to their journey in the Villa. After coupling up early on in the series, Mica eventually told Samraj she couldn’t explore the connection further.

But while Mica was ready to give their relationship another chance, Samraj admitted he was still struggling to understand what Mica really wanted, particularly due to his own connection with Priya. “I’ve got someone who’s giving me everything I want, then I go for you and you don’t know where your head’s at,” he said.

Still, their chemistry was clear and Samraj eventually admitted that he’d wanted to be with Mica since entering the Villa. In later scenes, Mica came clean to Priya about her growing bond with Samraj, hinting at the possibility of more love triangle drama ahead.
