A body has been found in “suspicious” circumstances in Melbourne’s south-east and homicide detectives are investigating.

The man’s body was found inside a parked car in Noble Park on Wednesday.

Emergency services were called to Walter St shortly before 3pm following reports a man had been located unresponsive in a vehicle.

 

He is yet to be formally identified.

A post‑mortem will be carried out to determine the cause of death, but police say the incident is being treated as “suspicious” at this early stage.

A crime scene has been established and detectives are working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the discovery.
