đ¨ ROYAL TENSION GROWS â NEW CLAIM ABOUT PRINCE HARRY AND MEGHAN COULD LEAVE KING CHARLES FURIOUS
Express reporter Adam Toms thinks the King has the right to feel put out after what’s happened since his reunion with his son.

Prince Harry may be feeling pretty pleased with himself after his visit to the UK. He had a jolly time in Birmingham and Warwickshire, playing wheelchair rugby and making friends with goats during a yoga session (Iâm not sure what was going on there either). It was almost as if the past six years never happened, and he was in full flow, enjoying his role as a valuable working member of the Royal Family. Amusing photos appeared in the newspapers, and footage was broadcast on television, including a gleeful hug with the ebullient This Morning host, Alison Hammond.
It was a glimpse at what could have been if the prince decided to stick by his duties and not abandon his country for California with his wife, Meghan Markle. Zoom out, though, and things were a lot less rosy. For one, the trip began with the Duke of Sussex losing a massive court case against the publishers of The Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday, which is reported to have cost £50million.

Now, he and Meghan have been criticised as alleged details of their long-awaited reunion with King Charles have started leaking out.
Sources close to them gave an insight into the private reunion, it has been claimed.
Buckingham Palace issued a dignified statement, confirming that it had taken place but giving us nothing more. No detail. No idea of what happened. And no hope of any pictures.
But these alleged sources close to the Sussexes said that it lasted for about âan hourâ and was âcompletely cloak-and-dagger, orchestrated by the Kingâ.
They told Vanity Fair: âThey are keeping the meeting top secret. They havenât said anything to anyone.
âThe agreement was made before they met the King that nothing would be shared â no photos, no details.
âIt was a top-secret arrangement, and they pulled it off, and frankly, they are delighted about that.â
You can almost feel the smugness. We’re not telling you anything. And we can stick to that.
Except it lasted about an hour. And was top secret. And Charles planned everything.
If true it’s as if Harry, Meghan and their team can’t help themselves.

The fact that the meeting even happened is a coup for the couple, considering they launched devastating artillery at the Firm from across the pond, causing their own family much pain.
William, the Prince of Wales, is said to still be furious about it all – and one canât blame him for feeling that way given the mud slung at wife Catherine.
So keeping everything hush hush was always the right thing to do. But this is becoming more hush. And who knows what other details wil gradually trickle out from a well-placed sourced here, an insider there.
It doesnât sit right with me and, no doubt, a large portion of the British public.
Every time Charles reads a story which contains detail he knows to be true it will erode what little trust has been rebuilt.
It was supposed to be a much-needed chance for the King to spend time with his young grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet, whom he last saw in 2022.
It reminds me of concerns the late Queen Elizabeth II purportedly had about meetings with Harry and Meghan being recorded secretly for Netflix.
You can only hope that Harry and Meghan genuinely want to end the family feud. If so they need to show Charles and others in the family they can be trusted. And that means private meetings stay so private that even the small details don’t make there way on gossip pages.
The tragedy is that the monarchy would be healthier with Harry and Meghan playing a major role. They still can. But it’s up to them to show they can play by the rules.
