Bahrs Scrub house party death: Four teens charged with murder of Jongkuch Peter Kur Jongkuch Achiew
Four teenagers have been charged with murder over the alleged bashing death of a young man following a large disturbance at an out-of-control Logan house party.

Four teens have been charged with murder after a 21-year-old man died days after allegedly being assaulted at an out-of-control Logan party.
Police on Thursday executed multiple search warrants across Logan and Ipswich, arresting and charging two 18-year-olds and two 19-year-olds with murder, over the July 26 incident.
Redbank Plains man Jongkuch Peter Kur Jongkuch Achiew, 21, died in hospital on August 1 following the alleged assault during a party at a Bahrs Scrub property that left multiple cars destroyed, the home destroyed and the street closed for a day.

Joshua Jackson John Jirima, 18, Amnaud Nduwayo, 19 and Kandour Khalil Tagelsir, 18 have each been charged with one count of murder.
Sunday Obol, 19 has been charged with murder, unlawful stalking, intimidation, harassing or abuse, robbery whilst armed/pretending to be armed or in company or wounded, one count extortion and one count of deprivation of liberty .
A fifth person was also charged relating to the incident.
Lasender Sheriff, 22, was charged with contravening an order about information necessary to access information stored electronically.
Police were called the Bahrs Scrubs address at 2.16am on July 26 following reports of a ‘large disturbance involving a group of people” on Discovery Road.

Police said in a statement issued after the incident they arrived at the scene within eight minutes to find “significant damage had been caused to a number of vehicles on the street, as well as damage to a residence”.
“As members of the group fled the scene, officers were alerted to a 21-year-old Redbank Plains man having been located nearby on Orchard Ave with significant head injuries,” police said in the statement.
The Bahrs Scrub property was believed to have been operating as a short-stay accommodation, with nearby residents suggesting there was a party at the site before violence erupted.
Neighbours said they believed two groups were involved, with hooning through the estate before people fled on foot and in damaged cars.
Mr Jongkuch had his life support turned off five days later, dying as a result of his injuries.
