King Charles Drops a B0mbshell Remark About Camilla—and the Palace Can’t Stop People Talking

King Charles made an unlikely remark this week, and it appeared to say a lot about his marriage with Queen Camilla. This week the King was seen at a public engagement, but a particular moment got a lot of people talking, as he seemed to poke fun at his wife.
At the time, King Charles visited the Isle of Man and met someone very special during his outing, but it wasn’t long before footage of the moment started to circulate on X. During the conversation, the King appeared to make a quip about Queen Camilla and people thought the moment was very telling.
It’s not the first time the Queen has been the subject of attention recently either. Just days ago, people were drawn to something unlikely when she tried to cool down in the heatwave.
On X, the Royal Family wrote: “During a visit to the Isle of Man, The King sat down with James Fenton, a 104-year-old Burma Star veteran.
“James is one of the last surviving veterans of the Burma Campaign. His Majesty previously met him at commemorations for the 80th anniversary of VJ Day in 2025.”
However, when footage of the meeting was shared, one particular moment seemed to grab people’s attention. Before the King left, James offered a message to pass on to Queen Camilla, and the King responded in the best way.
A social media user pointed it out, as James was heard saying: “Please give my regards to the Queen”. To which The King replied “I will” and “Don’t tell me you’re another one who danced with her as well.”
The quip generated a lot of laughter in the room, and people on social media appeared to be drawn to it as well. They found it super comical, and also thought it said a lot about the kind of relaxed relationship they must have.
It seems the King is not shy of a little banter, and people love to see him show it in action. The King offered a glimpse into the couple’s marriage that people perhaps don’t often get to see, as they seem to have a relationship deep-rooted in humour.
After the Royal Family shared the footage, various people reacted. They had all sorts of thoughts to share.
One person said: “A lovely tender moment of expressiveness from both the King, and a Burma Star Veteran. My grandfather was Burma Star Veteran too, they are very special.”
Another added: “All the beautiful things the Royal Family does to enrich lives. King Charles is one nice man.”
A third replied: “This is so emotional to watch. God bless you both.”
Meanwhile, a fourth commented: “God bless the King. He is such a treasure!”
Elsewhere, another also wrote: “Oh what a wonderful encounter for both! The King is so good with people. ‘And give my regards to the Queen’. They should invite him to a private tea!”
