The flight carrying the hantavirus-hit cruise ship passengers home to Australia has now landed.

The repatriation flight touched down as expected at RAAF Base Pearce, northeast of Perth on Friday.

The six passengers will now head straight to a largely unused 500-bed quarantine facility built in Bullsbrook during the COVID-19 pandemic.

They are so far testing negative for the deadly virus, but will continue to be monitored at the facility over the next few weeks.
