Maya Jama Appears to Fire Back at Ex Ruben Dias With Cryptic ‘Feelings’ Message, Fueling Fresh Breakup Speculation
MAYA Jama has appeared to hit back at her ex Ruben Dias with a cutting swipe three months after their shock split.
The Love Island anchor, 31, seemingly responded to the footballer’s latest Instagram upload which saw him posing topless with the caption: “Feelings on silent”.

The Sun exclusively revealed the pair’s split in May, after 18 months together.
The pair first began dating in December 2024 after meeting at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Manchester the month prior.
Now Maya, who had even moved into a plush Alderley Edge mansion with Ruben, 29, prior to their split, appeared to retort on her own Instagram upload.
She posted a clip showing her posing in a flirty fringed dress and holding an ice lolly, with the caption: “Some people catch feelings I catch Soleros”.

They broke up ahead of the latest Love Island seasonCredit: ITVWhile the post was a paid advert with Wall’s Ice Cream, the fact it came shortly after the footballer’s message with similar wording raised eyebrows.
Maya then followed up with videos showing her in a bikini top and blue striped shorts, before she hopped onto the shoulders of a security guard.
Their relationship ended before the star jetted off to Scotland to film Celebrity Traitors and came weeks ahead of the 2026 Love Island season.
Shortly after the split, Maya shared an emotional statement saying “I love loudly or not at all”
The Sun was then first to reveal how Ruben was accused of sending late-night texts to two sexy influencers during their relationships.
We told how during their time together he was sending seedy late night requests to social media stars on Instagram.
Ruben was been accused of “toe dipping” – a practice where one user follows another on social media to invite a response, then if the targeted user doesn’t return the favour, the follow is retracted.
There is no suggestion Ruben cheated on Maya, nor that he met with the women.
A source at the time said: “Ruben’s single now so can do what he wants, but the toe dipping whilst he was with Maya will raise eyebrows.”
Maya’s most famous romance before Ruben was her time with chart-topping Brit rapper, Stormzy.
Maya was first in a relationship with the star from January 2015 until August 2019.
Their 2023 reunion lasted just under a year before the pair finally agreed to call it quits – seemingly for good.
