MAFS Sparks Fresh Buzz as New Expert Is ‘Revealed’ Following Mel Schilling Heartbreak and Explosive Show Controversy
A NEW Married At First Sight Australia expert is said to have been chosen for the show’s upcoming season.
While the British version of the show has been plagued by controversy following and faces being axed for good, the Australian season is still thriving and is currently filming for the next instalment.

Brigitte Zonta, who is known as ‘Dr. Lurve’ and describes herself as ‘Australia’s no.1 relationship coach’, is said to be joining the panel.
The last series finished airing earlier this year and featured Mel Schilling, who sadly passed away in March following a battle with cancer.
Mel had been an expert on the show since 2016, when its second season aired, and also appeared on the British version of the series.
Now, the Daily Mail reports that a new expert has been hired to join long-serving expert John Aitken and sexologist Alessandra Rampolla on the next season of the show.
Brigitte Zonta, who is known as ‘Dr. Lurve’ and describes herself as ‘Australia’s no.1 relationship coach’, is said to be joining the panel.
While her Instagram page currently says Brigitte is travelling, and all of her social medias have been switched to private, it has been reported that she has returned home from her travels to begin the TV gig.
A source told the publication: “No one can replace Mel, and that is not what they are asking Dr Lurve to do.
“She has her own voice, her own energy and her own way of connecting with people.
“She can be warm and entertaining, but she can also cut through the excuses when somebody is not being honest.”
They also reported that Brigitte is the perfect fit since she ‘understands modern dating’.
Nine, the broadcaster behind the show, is yet to officially confirm Brigitte’s appointment.
