LOVE Island beauty Shakira has been forced to address rumours she’s engaged to her boyfriend Harry Cooksley after they sent fans into a frenzy.

The couple’s loyal fans were convinced that footballer Harry had proposed to Shakira while they were holidaying in Marrakech, Morocco.

They took to Instagram to share snaps from their lavish trip but one picture certainly caught fan’s eyes.

Harry, 31, could be seen lifting Shakira into the air in front of a stunning sunset backdrop.

The pair giggled and looked into each others eyes – it was the type of snap that could easily have been a big announcement.

But, former Islanders Harry and Shakira are not engaged and she has taken to her Instagram stories to get the word out.

Shakira said: “Upon reflection, upon reflection I can understand why you all got a little bit confused.

“The thing that cracked me up, I don’t blame you lot, what I do blame is Yasmin, my best friend in the whole entire world didn’t think that I would tell her that I got engaged before I told the internet.

“One dumba** h*e.”

She tagged Yasmin in the story saying: “I just read her texts and move on with my life.”

It seems that along with fans her best pal Yasmin was also convinced Harry had gotten down on one knee.

One fan wrote under her holiday snaps with Harry: “Thought the first image was gonna be a marriage announcement.”

Another person penned: “Please I thought this was an engagement post.”

The happy couple have already taken a big step as they officially moved in together back in February.

Shakira, 23, and Harry met in the famous Mallorca villa last year and their journey was a rollercoaster ride.

They immediately formed a connection but it was put on pause as he decided he wanted to get to know Helena Ford.

After spending the majority of the series dating other islanders, the two finally admitted their feelings for one another, just weeks before the final.

Fans quickly grew to adore the pair together and they ended up bagging second place behind Toni Laites and Cach Mercer.
