CCTV Released in Urgent Hunt After Teen Shopper Reportedly Targeted in Serious Incident Inside Sainsbury’s
A TEENAGE boy has allegedly been sexually assaulted by a man in a Sainsbury’s, as cops release CCTV.
The reported incident happened in Wantage, Oxfordshire, while the teen was in the shop on Saturday, July 25.
Police said the boy was approached by a man who sexually assaulted him by touching him over his clothes.
The incident is alleged to have happened at around 3pm.
Thames Valley Police has since released a CCTV image of a person who they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
Investigating officer police constable Jasmine Moore said: “I am releasing a CCTV image of a man who may have information that could assist our investigation.
“If you are the man pictured, know who he is, or have any information about this incident, please contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible.
“You can visit a police station, call 101, or make a report via our website, quoting reference number 43260393059.”
