Fire and Rescue NSW put out the blaze and helped evacuate two people from the Tuncoee Road home.

A woman in her 70s treated for smoke inhalation was left fighting for life and rushed to Liverpool Hospital but died a short time later.

A second woman, in her 50s, was taken to hospital as a precaution having also suffered smoke inhalation.

Police said both women lived at the address.

No suspicious circumstances have been found, but police have established a crime scene and are investigating the cause.

They’ll prepare a report for the coroner.
