Harry and Meghan dealt humiliating blow after ‘runaway royal’ bombshell
The TalkTV presenter ripped into the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after they suffered a crushing blow at the weekend.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle latest film from their production company flopped at the box office on its opening weekend. Cookie Queens, produced by the Sussexes’ company Archewell Productions, earned a £242,000 in its first weekend in cinemas. TalkTV host Kevin O’Sullivan claimed the couple “don’t have one iota of talent between them” in a brutal takedown.
The broadcaster was joined by Kinsey Schofield on his DriveTime show on Monday, claiming the Sussexes’ suffered another “flop”. The royal commentator claimed Meghan was not the best at “marketing or movie producing”.
Kinsey continued: “Page Six reports this morning that Cookie Queens crumbled at the box office over the weekend. To quote Page Six, ‘As the latest Hollywood misstep from the runaway royals.’
I think it was just $735 per screen. It opened at number 15 and that was five spots behind Cat Video Fest 2026 – a 70 minute theatrical compliation of the internet’s best cat videos.”

The Duchess of Sussex had done the rounds to promote the movie, which was Harry and Meghan’s executive production debut, attending question-and-answer sessions and taking selfies with fans.
The film, directed by Alysa Nahmias, tracks four young scouts through the fiercely competitive annual cookie-selling season. It was released in cinemas on August 7.
Kevin commented: “Nice… but there is no box office potential there. I knew it. Anybody can see it.”
But it was not all bad news for the Sussexes as the film received an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of 92%.

The film entered the IMDB Box Office Mojo, a popular box office ticket tracker website, in 13th place.
This is despite being shown in 446 theatres – equating to just over £540 per screening.
