I’M A Celebrity’s Ashley Roberts has blasted the show’s live finale as “unhinged” and admitted she was “angry” as tempers flared.

The Pussycat Dolls hitmaker, 44, even confessed she “thought I’d get smacked” as “hands flew” around when the ITV series came to an end in a very lively manner.

Friday’s I’m A Celebrity live show descended into chaos as the cast began arguing on-stage about campmates Jimmy Bullard and Adam Thomas’s row, with the former accusing him of being “abusive” and “intimidating”.

This even led to hosts Ant and Decuncharacteristically stepping into the drama, with Ant telling Jimmy he disagreed with his version of events.

Boxer David Haye also reignited his clash with Emmerdale actor Adam.

Finally, Adam was crowned the show’s winner following a public vote, but appeared far from happy to take on the honour.

Now, Ashley has spilled the beans on the antics of her co-stars on her Heart Breakfast show with Amanda Holden, 55, and Jamie Theakston, also 55.

Speaking of the final episode of the reality series – which was aired live in the UK with a public vote – she said: “It was unhinged!

“I felt like I was on a Jerry Springer show. It was just unbelievable!

“People were walking off and there were hands flying everywhere, there was yelling, emotions and crying, it was wild!

“I don’t feel like I’m fully recovered if I’m honest with you.

“Everybody was trying to say their piece, but David and Jimmy came in with a mission, I’ll just say that”.

Speaking about why she didn’t have much input in proceedings, she added: “Well, I was just trying to dodge big man hands flying in my face. I thought at one point I was going to get smacked”.

Amanda, clearly sharing the Don’t Cha singer’s fury, interjected: “Leaning right over her Jimmy was with no sort of cares.

“Honestly those men, I mean, don’t get me started I’m going to have to keep my mouth closed. It’s a good job I wasn’t on there”.

Jamie then joked: “Well, don’t keep your mouth closed it works much better on radio,” before she replied: “No but they’re just horrific and just absolutely awful.

“Not all of the men I should say. Adam, Harry [Redknapp] and Craig [Charles] there’s different things going on.

“Ashley is the one that can talk about it this with authority. I’m just talking from watching”.

Ashley then admitted: “Yeah, it was chaos, it was absolute chaos.

“It’s a shame really because Adam [Thomas] did become the legend and I don’t think he was even able to enjoy it because of all of the drama that went on.

“He had a really tough time in there and it was unfortunate that they had a moment to discuss things as adults and maybe clear the air a little bit.

“But instead, it was yelling and unfortunate behaviour. I was disappointed and my heart hurt a bit inside because there’s so much going on in the world and for us to then treat each other like that.

“We all went through this really tough experience, and we all could have sat and discussed as adults. It’s a TV show and it’s supposed to be entertaining, and I was just a little bit disappointed by their behaviour”.

She then admitted she was “angry” and added: “I was seeing the way these men were speaking to one another and it made me really sad.

“Because the world is a crazy place already and I feel like David was maybe trying to go in there with this persona to entertain people, but I think it really affected Adam”.

Earlier today, we reported how Ashley’s I’m A Celeb co-star Sinitta revealed the real reason she walked out of the show finale.

Sinitta, who also hit out at Adam’s behaviour as she stormed off during the final, has now revealed she walked out as she felt her co stars had “blown it” when it came to explaining the reasons behind their spat.

On Monday, she was asked by GMB’s entertainment reporter Richard Arnold of the live show: “It was overwhelming obviously because you walked.

“What was the reason you felt you had to walk off?”

Sinitta replied: “I just thought, guys, I felt like they had just blown it.

“It’s like you had a point, yes, Jimmy didn’t deserve to be treated that way, yes, there was banter, but it actually felt like bullying to me.

“You know what, we have all lost why we are here now.

“Because you are all shouting and you’re all trying to get your things in.

“Now it does look like you’re bullies because you’re goading and saying stuff”.

She said it was “over the top” and Adam had been “aggressive”.

Toy Boy hitmaker Sinitta wasn’t the only one to walk out of proceedings

The explosive final also saw Gemma Collins making an exit after the pair addressed their “feud”.
