Meghan Markle has published a story on her Instagram account for the first time since news emerged of her return to the UK with the rest of the Sussex family. The cryptic post, however, didn’t touch on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s relocation to Britain, which will happen at some point in late August.Rather, it was a short video which showed a joke printed on a piece of fabric, which read: “People who take care of chickens are literally chicken tenders.” The clip zooms in on the joke, while background music can be heard.

Meghan is known to take care of rescue chickens in her Montecito home.

The animals were even featured in the Sussex’s interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired in March 2021. The sit-down interview, which included a series of allegations against the Firm, also showed Oprah visiting Prince Harry and Meghan’s California home, and entering “Archie’s Chick Inn”.

The rescue chickens, including one named Silkie, aren’t the only animals part of the Sussex household.

Meghan and Prince Harry, alongisde their children Princess Lilibet Diana and Prince Archie Harrison, take care of the dogs Mia and Pula – who are believed to be relocating to Britain with the family.

Upon their return to the UK, which is understood to be long-term but not on a permanent basis, Meghan and Harry will make their home in a non-royal residence outside of London.

They have already enrolled Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in British schools.

King Charles was first made aware of the bombshell move earlier this month, it is understood, but he reportedly welcomes the opportunity to see more of the family both in a private and personal capacity.
