Love Island Twist: Viewers Spot the Hidden Reason Behind Priya’s Explosive Feud With Julia—And It’s Not About Aidan
LOVE Island fans have worked out the reason why furious Priya exploded at Julia twice – and it’s NOT because of Aidan.
Last night’s episode of the ITV2 show saw the girls pick who they wanted to couple up with in the latest recoupling ceremony.

Priya is now in a pair with bombshell Ethan, but she opened up to Lorenzo – who is in a couple with Julia – about how she was truly feeling.
Hunky Lorenzo stopped chatting and joked he felt Julia, who was out of frame, was giving him “evils” when they were talking together.
Priya asked him: “Does she actually get annoyed when we chat?”
Lorenzo replied: “No!”

“Please just give me a break. Let me speak to my friend!,” Priya said loudly.
Moments later, Julia came to sit down and Lorenzo explained to her that “Priya has problems”.
But Priya asked her: “Why do you get annoyed when we speak?”
“I’m not,” Julia replied.
Priya told her: “You’ve got Lorenzo all night in bed. I literally haven’t spoken to him for four days. He is my friend.”
Julia told her: “I am not annoyed!”
Priya said: “It’s actually a bit annoying, I am talking to my friend. If you want to have Lorenzo back, that is fine, but I’m having a chat about my situation.

“I’m not in a good situation, I’ve been friends with this guy for six and a half weeks. You’ve got him all night in bed.
“It just feels that every time I have a conversation with Lorenzo, you get annoyed about it. I’m not flirting with the guy, he’s like my brother.”
Julia told her: “I understand. I don’t understand why you’re getting annoyed.”
“Because you’re getting p***ed off that I speak to him,” Priya told her.
Julia asked: “Why? You said I could come and join. So I came and joined.”
Priya told her: “It was like being sarcastic with me. I don’t appreciate that. I’ve had quite a difficult night. I’m speaking to my friend.”
“Okay, great,” Julia said. “I came to join and listen. Let’s chat!”
Lorenzo told her: “Priya’s in a s**t situation.”
Julia asked her why it was and she fumed: “You know why it’s s**t. You know I want to be with Aidan. I made that very clear.”
And then later on in the episode Priya exploded again when Julia was speaking to Aidan.
She told the Kent lad: “I relate to Elicia a lot, being a bombshell, being very bold, laying it all out. How do you feel?
“Girls have made their intentions clear, as a friend I am asking. With Elicia, Priya, where is my head at?”
He explained that his head is with Priya and Priya said while looking on: “The vibe I get is that she’s trying to ship me and Ethan, and ship you guys.”
Priya decided to head over to the pair and told Julia: “I don’t know why you’re getting involved.”
“I’m looking out for Elicia,” Julia told her.
Priya fumed: “I don’t want people talking about my sh**, it’s triangle after triangle after triangle.
“People are going to do what they want to do. All this outside noise is not needed. I don’t talk about your sh**. “
Many took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts on why Priya became so snappy.
And some think it’s because Priya was close with Lola – who was dumped from the Island alongside Sean earlier this week by Lorenzo and Julia.
Lola didn’t see eye to eye with Julia either after Julia entered the main villa after Casa Amor – and fans were left disgruntled over Lola’s treatment of her.
One said: “LOLA TURNED PRIYA AGAINST JULIA.”
Another added: “You can tell Priya is still salty from when Julia sent her “pals” Lola and Sean home. Like that attitude wasn’t needed towards Julia??? She’s such a beg wtf.”
A third added: “Yeh literally, I noticed she backed lola against Julia at the fireplace so I think priya just has lola blinker filters on for Julia unfortunately.”
“Priya just cuz lola is gone doesnt allow you to treat julia like this,” a fourth tweeted.
On Reddit one person pointed out: “Priya is mad because of what happened to lola so she is taking it out on julia.”
Another added on the discussion site: “Priya was one of the people defending Lola against Julia as well so I bet that had some impact.”
“You could argue that Julia shouldn’t have gotten involved however everyone chats amongst themselves ab other couples including priya who added her 2 cents about Julia’s situation w Lola … so y is it an issue now ? Priya has had animosity towards Julia,” another said on X.
A sixth said on the platform: “Priya and Lola were deffo convinced Julia and Lorenzo were only voted fav couple because of Lorenzo only (as he was voted fav boy before), so they think it’s cool to be mean.”
“I honestly don’t know what Julia did to Priya. This isn’t the first time; she also came at her when Lola and Julia had an argument,” a seventh tweeted.
Julia and Lola had a number of clashes during their time together on the show.
In her exit interview from the villa Lola accused Julia of ‘forcing drama’ after the two women got into a huge argument when Lola accused her of “trying to crack on” with her man in Casa Amor.
Lola said: “With Julia I’d said my bit from the start and I didn’t really need to discuss it again.
“My disappointment was that she didn’t really appreciate the fact she was trying to crack on with the one boy who was exclusive and I’d told her that.”
Lola added: “After that first conversation I just thought we’re going to have to agree to disagree. You do you and I’ll do me.
“The difficult part was that every time things had settled, she’d bring it back up again. For me, it felt like forced drama.”
Love Island fans ranted “get her out” and said that they were “complaining to Ofcom” over “vile bullying” in the villa.
The detective branded her co-star a “f***ing b***h” in one attack, after Julia had attempted to get to know her man Sean in Casa Amor.
After noticing the tension, Julia tried to smooth things over with Lola but she wasn’t having any of it.
